Theeuwes cattle forage company

Because of changed legislation of landscape architecture, the existing silos were covered with a steelcosntruction and wall panels.

For this we prefabricated the steelconstruction which was placed as a box around the silos

The top of the construction was preassembled on groundlevel including roof plates and the roof cover. After that it was lifted over the silos from the top down by using a 150 tons mobile crane.

Since the silos and the rest of the existing buildings were built very close to each other, both construction and assembly were a very precise job.

The total steelconstruction was erected in 4 working days. After that we mounted the wall plates with special fasteners           (needed because of the high wind speed).
